The class of 2021 prospect is already one of the bigger names among defensive linemen that year. He’s gotten plenty of attention already. 20 schools have come through with offers, including local powers Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas A&M.Those three are among the six schools that currently stand out. He spoke to HornSports about the recruiting process thus far, and specifically, where the Texas Longhorns stand:Out of his 20 offers, Adeleye is eyeing six schools that stand out above the rest. Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas A&M.Adeleye certainly has options, but the school he will chose must have three things.“A coaching staff that will develop me into an elite draft prospect, a degree that will separate me from my competition in the workforce, and a nice campus and town.”Early on in the recruitment, Texas appears to be in good shape for Tunmise Adeleye.Three of the four early crystal ball predictions have him ending up as a Longhorn. That sample size isn’t huge, but it’s not a bad sign.Another good sign for UT: he plans to take another visit soon, after checking out things in Austin in February. He’ll be taking a tour of schools with his friend and teammate Jalen Milroe, a four-star quarterback.“I will be taking a lot of visits to different schools in the summer with my teammate Jalen Milroe. We will be at Texas, Florida, Miami, Florida State, Alabama, Oklahoma, Auburn and Texas A&M.”He plans to be a package deal with Milroe, as he recently expressed on Twitter.@JalenMilroe is my lil bro we’ve been playing ball together since 6th grade it’s deeper then a friendship he’s my family I promise we’re going to the same school together so as spring ball starts I pray some people make the right decision and offer him he’s a generational talent— Tunmise (@tunmiseadeleye) April 20, 2019Milroe is a prominent recruit in his own right, but with so much time left in the cycle, he doesn’t have quite the same offer list. Still, schools like Florida State and Nebraska have already come through with them, so he certainly could start to accrue the same level of attention as Adeleye.247 ranks Adeleye No. 47 overall, and No. 6 at his position. He’s the 17th-ranked player in Texas for the 2021 class.[HornSports]last_img
