Bond set for Alpena man who threatened another with a baseball bat

Upon reviewing the surveillance video, it was discovered that Smith was the aggressor. He approached the victim inside the store wielding a baseball bat. Smith alleged the victim was trying to contact his fiancé via email. The victim claims he doesn’t know Smith or his fiancé.An arrest warrant was issued for Smith and he was arrested on Aug. 21.
